The young child at the front of the photograph is Mary Franklin, who was born in February 1926: from her apparent age we can say that this photograph was taken in 1930, give or take a year, which fits well with the clothes, hairstyles etc.. Don't take the identifications as gospel yet: we're still sorting them out.
This photograph makes Caroline Ellen look much more jowly and heavy than she in fact was. Mary Franklin referred to one of the women being "Blanche" and it has been suggested that n°s 10 and 6 could be Florence Blanche Shirran née Franklin and her husband George Shirran, but Florence Blanche was only fifty-five in 1930, and George only 5'6¾", and they lived in Scotland, and as far as I know Florence Blanche went by "Florence". My working hypothesis therefore is that n°s 10 and 6 are Caroline Ellen's sister and brother-in-law.
