Erected by Peter McLellan in Memory of his children Robert who was drowned at sea August 1860 aged 17 years Archibald who was drowned at sea 22nd Sep 1871 aged 26 years Humphrey who died 7th June 1875 aged 36 years the above Peter McLellan who died 25th Feb 1881 aged 76 years his wife Christina Davie who died 4th Jan 1900 aged 87 years Christina McLellan daughter of the above and wife of Thomas Crawford died 22nd May 1926 aged 75 years Peter, youngest son of the above died at Greenock 5th July 1922
