1792 Here lies the remains of James Chalmers late farmer in Barbor who died May 1st 1791 aged 83 years also intered here Agnes Hall who died April the 4th 1765 aged 55 years This stone is erected to their memories by their eldest son Petr Chalmers Farmer in Barbor West Face In tombs of earth here do we our bodies to repose untill on us our God doth call and our reward bestows
