Just for a laugh, I have put together some images marking places that we are pretty sure
Russell has visited at least once !

They are in no particular order and I am sure you will delight in pointing out all the omissions !

I am no webmeister, so don't waste your breath complaining !

First up - The Borderline, - it's down a little alley way,
tucked behind Tottenham Court Road
.........but you already knew that !!
The Mirabelle, in Curzon Street, Mayfair.
In June 2000, the London paparazzi finally
blew the wraps on Russell's relationship with Meg by snapping them as they departed.

Just a short way down the road, is the Curzon Mayfair.
In early December 2001, one of the first UK screenings took
place of A Beautiful Mind.This was followed by a Q & A
in the company of Russell Crowe, Ron Howard and Akiva Goldsman.

The screening mentioned above, was intended for Bafta members
in an effort to gain their votes for the coming awards gala.
In some cases, it seemed to work ! This is a wide shot showing
the entire building in Piccadilly (above the shops). To the right
is the discrete entrance to the sizeable Bafta building
(strictly, members only)

Earlier this year, Russell was a guest of honour at the opening
of the newly located Emporio Armani shop, in Bond Street.

A delay in his schedule meant that both Russell and Danielle were pretty
hungry by the time they reached this restaurant - Hakkusan in Hanway Place.
Another one of those places tucked behind Tottenham Court Road.

It's no secret that nowadays Russell tends to stay at the Dorchester Hotel.
It affords one of the best security codes in London, but
also has a permanent structure for the paparazzi to hang out.
Fortunately there are several other exits which allow for a virtually undetected stroll in the park.

After a curtailed visit to the Parkinson Show, a Variety Club
charity audience waited for Russell's appearance after their
screening of A Beautiful Mind at the Everyman in Hampstead.
I really should go back and take a picture of this in daylight !

The Orange British Academy of Film and Television Arts Film Awards 2002 (phew)
took place on the last Sunday in February.
The actual ceremony was
held in the Odeon's flagship premisses in Leicester Square
It was a miserable afternoon for the weather
but a very satisfying result for the nominees !

Then the fun begins - a short ride back to Park Lane
for the post awards dinner in the Great Room..................

....... at the Grosvenor House Hotel
