Omagh, 4th July 1998
This years' 4th of July, celebrations were also incorporated with the United States Consul Generals, farewell celebrations. Members of both SOSKAN and ACWS travelled over from Great Britain via Dun Laioghaire where they had a small skirmish around the park benches!!!....... just to warm the barrels before the main event in Northern Ireland.
The two forces, Federal and Confederate massed on the Friday night, tents were erected, fire pits dug and old friendships renewed.
In the Confederate camp the public were treated to various demonstrations and excellent examples of living history. This small corner of Ulster was truly Pennsylvania 1863.

Missouri raiders successfully raid a bank under the protection of the Federal Army!
The raiders are soon caught and treated to an example of Federal justice.
