Erected by Elizabeth Stewart in remembrance of her beloved husband James Stewart Esq. who died at Clynder House 11th Oct. 1862 aged 60 "His End Was Peace" also her revered mother Mary Anne relict of James Rae Esq. late Sheriff Substitute of Linlithgowshire who died 17th Feb. 1863 aged 84 And here is interred Eliza. Relict of James Stewart who died 25th January 1866 aged 60 Also Helen, last surviving daughter of the above James Rae who died in Edinburgh 7th Dec 1911 in her 89th year "Rejoicing In Hope"
