Here repose by the side of her lamented husband the remains of Jane daughter of the Ld Frederick Campbell and widow of Major Heny Geoe Johnston of the late York Hussars. She died in London 25th March 1810 aged 80 -.- of two sons the only issue of her marriage the younger John Frederick Lieutenant R.N died on board HMS the Queen Charlotte of the severe wound he received in the capture of Algeria by Adml Ld Exmouth in 1816 the elder Frederick, Major in the Army, in compliance with his Mothers last wishes caused this inscription to be placed here
