No, I'm not a narcisist. I read in Jackob Neilsen's Alertbox column on web usability that people like to know something about the person that is writing the website so here's my contribution.
So, why have I chosen to do this site about Kimberley? Well a couple of years ago I wanted to make a site on which I could practice some of the web stuff that I had learnt. I wanted one which people would look at and want to visit. I could have picked one on say Sarah Michelle Gellar or Manchester United but with over 500 SMG and Buffy related sites on Yahoo! why would people look at mine?
So I had to find a niche. There were very few websites about Home and Away around at the time and so I decided that I could do one about that. But I didn't want to just do any site. I had planned to do one about Kristy Wright but before I could begin she'd left. So Kimberley was the "chosen one" and I don't regret it. The site has always been a place for me to try web stuff out see the Y2K1 calendar and the Advent Calendar of last year. But first and foremost I want to spread the word about a talented and attractive young Australian actress.
So what about me? I was born in Trafford General Hospital in Urmston at the moment am currently resident in Wigan although I will be moving sometime in the autumn. I studied at William Hulme's Grammar School and the University of Sheffield and got a BA degree in Geography. After leaving there I went to work for Wigan Council. Although just between me and you I don't expect to be there much longer.
What do I do in my spare time? Like most people I love sports. Although I play less and less nowadays, I have follow sports as widespread as Lacrosse, American Football, Aussie Rules, Ice Hockey and Baseball. I've even tried my hand at more than a few of them.
My main loves must be football and cricket. I am a season ticket holder at Manchester United and a member of Lancashire Cricket Club. And I actually work on match days at the latter. Here you can see me sitting in the Scoreboard I work. Oh and I also have a crazy obsession with the world of Sports Entertainment WWF style.
I also like TV. TV is good. It really makes the brain think lots. Fave shows include Home and Away (of course), Buffy, West Wing, Sopranos and ER. With the Simpsons topping the lot. You can tell a whole lot about a person by who their favourite Simpsons character is - mine would be a toss up between Homer, Comic Book Guy and Moe.
