November 8th was the big day for Relfs in Kiwiland when some 70 odd gathered at Bureta Park Conference Centre in the city of Tauranga to re-new aquaintances and make new connections as well as swap stories and view pictures and large reproductions of the Relf Family Tree. A branch that interests most in this part of the world starts with William Relf and Henerrita Baker in the 1700's and one branch ended at the Editor's great grandaughter, Tiana, at the time 4 months old. Prime movers in the reunion were the family of Ruben (Ben) Relf and his gracious wife Doreen, who was sadly not with us on the day as she passed away in late September.
