I observed,

Your depression.

Meddling pride,

"Helpful"action...

Prescription, cure,

Then prevention,

How could be,

So wrong?

Arrogance steering,

False reality,

Lifting pain,

No more adversity!

Cleverly masked,

I disguised opportunity,

How could I sing,

This obnoxious song?

Existential panic,

Defensive reaction,

Child to child.

Dialogic combustion.

Fiery arguments,

Irrational irritation,

*An eternity promised,

Too soon, too long.

Stupid pride,

Fallen angel,

Help a failure,

Can't seek counsel.

Feeling down,

How predictable,

Death knell sounds,

Hear it ding, then dong?

I came, I saw,

I gained experience,

Life's a bitch,

Now, I seek guidance.

I claimed the right,

To my own arrogance,

Now need to heal,

And carry on...
