Living within the Open Source community of mozilla.org, the MLP is completely volunteer-driven. If you think one of our products or projects should be available in your language, you're probably the best person to make it happen. Or the right person to help people already working on this task.

Register

One of the first steps you need to take is to register your project. This document provides the information needed to do that. Please, only register if you believe you have both the ability and the desire to contribute; otherwise, you might prevent others from working on a localization.

"How-To" Documents

These documents explain the steps you'll need to take to localize a mozilla.org based program into your language. This section does include a number of older guides. We'll be trying to mark these as such, especially where they now give out incorrect information. In the meantime, we're working on newer guides for the most important current tasks.
