Back to the Making of Devil's Gate Latest News Radio Times review gives Devil's Gate 3 stars Respected Scottish film journalist Brian Pendreigh has reviewed Devil's Gate for the Radio Times saying, "This old-fashioned melodrama is steeped in gothic bleakness thanks to the Shetland locations that double for the remote island of Devil's Gate." He further adds, "Director Stuart St Paul's otherworldly tale may be a little overwrought at times, but its careful plotting and attention to character detail make for refreshing viewing". Devil's Gate awarded 12A certificate by BBFC Devil's Gate has been certified as a 12A by the British Board of Film Classification. A 12A rating means that the film can be seen by children under the age of 12 as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
