Advantages of LPG.

LPG is very cheap due to significantly lower fuel duty imposed by the government. A litre of LPG currently costs less than half the price of petrol or diesel on the forecourts (June 2000).

A litre of LPG allows a vehicle to travel approximately 75% of the distance it could travel on a litre of petrol.

• LPG vehicles can significantly reduce output of key target pollutants - Nitrogen Oxide.
• LPG re-fuelling stations are currently being introduced at the rate of one per day, and we are set to have 600 stations by the end of 2000.
• Most types of vehicles that run on petrol can run on LPG, which means that they are duel fuel vehicles, and can run on either petrol or gas, this can give you greater range all at a flick of a switch!
