The above were some of my total catch for the week, my list is as follows, all Mirrors unless stated otherwise. The list is in order of catching, 21lb, 21lb 8oz, 28lb 8oz, 39lb common, 25lb 8oz, 34lb, 27lb 8oz, 24lb 8oz, 28lb 4oz, 25lb 8oz, 28lb 8oz, 31lb. These are some of Steve's fish for the week, his total was 14 carp, 34lb, 17lb, 19lb, 25lb, 28lb 8oz, 40lb 8oz, 34lb, 38lb, 26lb, 21lb, 35lb, 32lb, 32lb, 26lb. His catch included 2 doubles, 5 twenties, 6 thirties and 1 forty.
Darrell was back with a bang! 19 fish. 2 doubles, 8 twenties and 9 over 30lb, the biggest being a common of 38lb! His list, 32lb 8oz, 17lb 8oz, 32lb, 32lb, 24lb, 22lb, 38lb common, 34lb 8oz, 32lb, 28lb, 22lb, 31lb, 28lb, 33lb, 24lb, 17lb, 23lb, 24lb, 35lb 12oz.
Perry managed 9 carp this year no thirties but he did catch 2 forties, in fact he caught 3 really, but the 42lb Mirror he caught twice 24hours apart! His list, 26lb, 24lb, 25lb, 28lb 8oz, 21lb, 29lb 4oz, 46lb 12oz, 42lb, 42lb. That's 6 twenties, no thirties and 3 forties.
Our combined catch for the week being 54 carp with 18 over thirty pounds and 4 over 40,
As you can see from the pictures, we all had a good week catching consistently throughout the week. Perry had a new PB at 46lb 12oz, Darrell had a PB mirror at 35lb 12oz and PB common at 38lb. I had a PB common at 39lb. Considering the conditions were far from perfect with strong winds, rain and very cold for the time of year, we achieved a very good result. If the weather had been more settled I am sure the catches would have been even better, but then again perhaps the carp would have carried on spawning as they had started to spawn two weeks prior to our arrival.
