Maths for Key Stage Three

Our Maths shows for schools presentations can be large group shows or individual class based workshops. The workshops include puzzles, card tricks etc all designed to enhance the curriculum and motivate pupils to developing a positive approach to mathematics. Areas covered can include prime and cube numbers, algebra, fractions, decimals and percentages, patterns, 2D & 3D shape, reflective and rotational symmetry & probability and basic maths for less able pupils. Classroom workshops or large group presentations.

In November 2010 Swanhurst School, Birmingham invited Gerry to be a provider for an INSET  day on creative Maths and to present a Maths' Show for years 8 & 9. Scheduled for an hour the staff were still engrossed after 90 minutes, the maths leader declaring one of the best courses she had attended.

In 2012 Gerry presented two fun lectures for TUC Representatives at Basic Skills in the Workplace Conferences in Wrexham and Cardiff.
