Bernhard Kruger was an SS Sturmbannfuhrer and leader of the VI F 4a Unit.

Bernhard Kruger (born 26 November 1904; died 1989) was during World War II as an SS Sturmbannfuhrer, the leader of the VI F 4a Unit in the Reichssicherheitshauptamt.

This SD unit was responsible for, among other things, falsifying passports and documents. Within the setting of Operation Bernhard, the SD forged pound notes and dollar bills in great numbers. This counterfeiting operation was named for Kruger. Kruger was a member of the NSDAP. After the war ended, he lived in Germany.
