Tall Short Stories
Fourteen dark, humorous (and occasionally puerile) short stories from my trusty red crayon. A fusion of Saki, Dahl and Mao Zedong (OK, so I might be stretching this description a little bit).
Originally entitled It Never Happened / This Never Happened Too, this book contained a selection of stories from those first two books. The May 2021 edition was given a new front cover and was retitled to Tall Short Stories because the original title was deemed too 'clunky', and includes a story from my third book Painting By Numbers (June 2019) and two stories from This Could Be Our Finest Hour (May 2022).
This book is an international seller (notice I missed out the word 'best' before 'seller'), having been translated into English in eight different countries and downloaded on five continents (Antarctica awaits). The UK and Canada are the biggest readers of this book (I am assuming they have read it after having downloaded it). The other countries where the book has been downloaded reads like a list of countries that have never won the Football World Cup (except for France). If you feel like adding your non-World-Cup-winning country to the list of countries that have read the book, or perhaps you live in Uraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Spain or Germany, or you are currently working in the Antarctic, then you might like to try the link near the bottom of this page to the book on Kobo Bookstore website.

Someone wrote a very kind review of this book on the 17th January, 2022:
Exactly What I Wanted. Loved every story. Catchy- interesting- short. Exactly what I want in a group of short stories. Nice variety! This author was able to be “different” with each story told. Similar to an actor’s ability to convincingly play a variety of characters. Thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend. (BY)
